Tomorrow morning Hudson will have surgery on his eye to repair the clogged oil gland (aka: chalazion) underneath his left eye. It should be a very interesting morning for us, we'll have to wake Hudson up (which I never like to do- ever), he won't be able to have anything to eat or drink and we have about an hour drive to the hospital where his surgery is scheduled. We check in at 7:30AM, the surgery will begin at 8:30AM and should last a total of 45 minutes. Once the Hud is awake and doing well he'll be discharged and we'll spend of the rest of the day recuperating at home. I am optimistic that things are going to go very well, but of course Scott and I are both nervous about the anesthesia part. Please keep us in your thoughts tomorrow and we'll update the blog as soon as we can.
The photo above was taken at Hudson's pre-surgery appointment. He loved this chair! In fact he pushed so many of the buttons on it I'm not sure it was functioning properly when we left.
