afternoon visit to the park (again)

I'm not sure what we're going to do when it gets really cold here soon. Hudson loves going to the park and we go almost every afternoon. He loves to just sit and observe everything going on around him. Yesterday there was a little boy riding a bike around the park and Hudson could not take his off of him. He loves being around the other kids at the park, and since he's home with me most of the time, the park is one of our only opportunities to do so. When he's around the older toddlers who are actually talking, Hudson watches them intently and makes his best attempt at conversation. You can't possibly make out what he's trying to say, but I find it especially adorable anyways.

Hud-bug heads to the ART Reunion

Yesterday was the Animal Rescue of Texas Adopter's Reunion. This is one of my favorite events since we get to see some of the dogs we fostered with their new families. It's a wonderful feeling knowing we played a part in saving their lives, and as Hudson gets older I hope to teach him how important it is to give to those who are less fortunate than us, and how incredibly rewarding it can be. Hudson loved seeing all of the dogs, and especially loved all of the balloons around the park.

scribbles and dribbles is back

I haven't been able to go to Scribbles and Dribbles lately because my naps have been running longer, and mommy says she's not waking me for anything in the world. This morning however, I reverted back to my old ways of napping (35 minutes to be exact), so we headed down to our Scribbles and Dribbles class. I had so much fun and got really dirty! Here I am playing after I finished scribbling and dribbling. Wait til you see the works of art I created!

cold and rainy

The last few days have been cold and rainy,
so we've been stuck inside.
Not to worry, I've been staying plenty busy....

checking my email, surfing the web...

making a Christmas list for Santa....

unpacking boxes when they arrive at the house- this ones for me! (though after taking this picture, I fell face first into the box and wasn't very happy about it)...

and occasionally, I do actually play with one of my toys.
