Update

Yesterday afternoon we saw Hudson's allergist who felt that Hudson was MUCH better than the last time he saw him. He believes that the recurrence of Hudson's symptoms were due to a little bug he picked up while taking his antibiotics, so he doesn't want us to change anything for the time being, meaning keep him on all of his medications and see how he does. We're to report back in 6 weeks to see how things are going. With regard to the little red bump under Hudson's eye, we're going to see a pediatric opthalmologist to figure out what's going on there. SHEESH! I'm so tired of doctors!

Hudson really likes to take his picture with the iPhone, he thinks it's really funny and laughs and screams with excitement when he sees his picture on the phone. Here are a few more from yesterday.

A brief update on Hudson's health issues...
All of his symptoms are back. All of them. He was on antibiotics for 20 days, was completely better about 3 days in, but around day 15 or so they slowly started returning. As you might imagine, we are incredibly frustrated, not to mention that we feel horrible for our little boy who just looks terrible (as cute as he is) with the bags, dark circles and redness under his eyes, the stuffy nose, the "darth vader" breathing and the constant coughing. Today we return to the allergist, where we are hoping to get some answers. My prediction is another x-ray, a referral to yet another specialist, a possible surgery, and all of this without any guarantees of fixing whatever is wrong. I hope for the sake of my sweet little boy that I'm wrong.

I love, love, love that Hudson enjoys drawing and painting just like his mommy, and although I would be thrilled if he followed in his mommy's footsteps and became an artist, I am secretly hoping that he inherited his da-da's brain because let's face it, a degree in studio art will basically get you a job as a bartender, whereas a degree in law...well, you get where I'm going here...

This afternoon we ended up in Southlake (our favorite suburb which I believe will someday be home) on our (it seems) never ending search for the "perfect" bunk beds...I think we've actually been all over the metroplex, on gazillions of websites, craigslist (which brought us to Southlake, and was unfortunately a no-go), Costco, Pottery Barn kids, every furniture store there is and yet....no beds...hopefully this search ends soon when we have found and purchased said "perfect" beds.
